I agree with that, I put it 4th on my best PSX games ever (1st Suikoden II, 2nd FF Tactics, 3rd FF VII). I think that a lot of people love Trigger so much they wouldn't have been satisfied with anything. CC tries to be radically different thatn it's predecessor, and it offered a lot of innovative things, like one of the most unique battle systems ever, it ditched the grinding completely, it offers a lot of party members to recruit, has branching storylines (which differ a lot), a fantastic story, etc. I think that if they would have played it safe and make it similasr to CT they would be complaining too because it doesn't try anything new and it's just fan service.

The list fails for one obvious reason- Super Mario Brothers 3 is only placed at #20?!?! It's easily one the top games of all time along with best selling and it only got up to #20? That's horrible especially since a few of the games ahead of it so far are rarely even mentioned as favorites of gaming. I can't wait to see what else they place above SMB 3.

I'll come up with something better eventually...
