Fighters Megamix, Panzer Dragoon Saga, Dragon Force, Guardian Heroes, Radiant Silvergun, Saturn Bomberman and Nights into Dreams are among the best Saturn games.

PM Disolotude (look up his anme, I may have spelled it wrong- he knows a ton about Sega Saturn. I have a saturn, and its definatly worth $25 or whatever that amound to. Here is what I recommend buying of amazon/ebay with it-

1. Sega Saturn battery- buy off ebay for $2. The battery in your saturn will be dead, buy a new one to save games

2. NiGHTS into dreams- costs $25-$40. A must-buy game. In the top 30 best games ever made.

3. Sonic Jam- 3D sonic world plus lots of old sonic games and lots of sonic movies/pictures/songs/trivia stuff= must buy imo.

4. Daytona USA- fun racer, worth $4

5. Sonic 3D blast- worth $5

there are other good games as well

Yeah you probably need to change the battery for game saves on the internal memory. The battery you is small it's the CR2032 battery. You can find them at most places, I picked one up at a local pharmacy for ~$2. This page might help you if you don't know how to do it already:

It's an all in one:
- Memory cart (for storing save backups)
- 1MB/4MB RAM cart (for game's that require it, a lot of later fighting games used it for more frames of animation, i.e. to look/play better)
- Action Replay (if you want to use game cheats)
- Allows playback of Saturn games from all regions

Romance of the 3 kingdoms 4?: Wall of fire

I wish they would localize the japanese kingdom of the 3 kingdoms psp games :P

lovin a few games for it.

Destruction Derby is very good, if a bit slow. I already have it for PS1 and on PS3 from the store. but it plays much better on the saturn.

Sega rally is also pretty good for quick blasts, but I can't play it well.

command and conquer is a complete letdown


I've decided I am going to get sonic jam, Virtua fighter 2 and discworld.

Inspired by this thread I bought a Sega Saturn yesterday.
A friend of mine let me borrow some of his old games.
I'm havin a blast! =)

YEah Command and Conquer is tricky to play on Saturn, definatly better on the PC. If yu can pick up Virtua Fighter 2 or House of the Dead withgun than that would pretty much do it. Rayman is also great.
