Yes, im finally glad someone else said something. Games take a lot longer to come out this gen, and not as many come out as quickly as last gen.

I only bought 14 games last gen. I already have 13 disc based and 11 in my Wii's memory.

no PS3 game has really got my interest, and I suppose thats why. is it just cause i'm getting older? idk. i'm still really excited about sequals that have yet to come out (Animal Crossing, Resident Evil, FFXIII,) it's the newer games that don't get to me anymore. most of the new stuff on the 360 I pass as overrated crap. I might try out Bioschock, and I might try out Little Big Planet.

Dev time and money is a huge consideration now. There are less games being made because of the associated cost, and each game takes more programming to complete. That being said, I think that because of the aforementioned pressures, the quality of games for the most part has risen.
