If it wasn't made by Nintendo it wouldn't be named Wii Music. It would be called Music Party or something similar, and thus not selling as much.

People reckognize the "Wii" franchise. They know it offers fun, familiy friendly games. It's pure brand name.

If Ubisoft published it and named it Imagine: Muzic it would probably do well, but not as well.

Nintendo fans would also protest outside of Ubisoft headquarters and fill their inbox with hate mail.
