You know Motorstorm runs in 720p (max) at 30fps... right? Anyone remember Sony's claims from E3?? "Dual TV output, 1080p both screens, 100fps" ...and it can't even manage 720p at 60fps!

LAIR runs at full HD at 1080p at 30fps. ridge racer ran at 1080p at 60fps. R&C, KILLZONE will run at 1080p too.

How do you know R&C and Killzone will be at 1080p? Do you have a crystal ball? And too bad most of those games don't live up to your 108p 60FPS claim. BTW, do you own a 1080p set?

Wow - and it was SUCH a good game!! Set the Japanese charts alight with huge sales (NOT!). It even managed to sell less than 10% of the same game on the PS2. Maybe the PS3 will do about 10% as well as the PS2 did...

Agreed - who needs 60fps in a fast-paced racer... 60fps is so... yesterday! So is 1080p!! 720p at 30fps is good enough for PS3 owners ;) (even Mario Kart on the N64 ran at 60fps...)

But do they also live up to his 60fps claim? I know reports of Liar are that it has framerate issues, and although I'm certain Factor 5 will resolve these problems I doubt they'll hit 60fps.
