robotech/macross is my favorite anime series of all time and i would love the chance to play as rick hunter, and explore macross island and fight in space. does anyone know if one is being made.

The only one i know of is Macross Ace Frontier for the PSP. Only Japanese at the moment and doubt it will go to the west.

If the Robotech movie gets made, I'm guessing there will be a game. Not sure what the status on the project is now, but it sounded promising last time I checked. Lawrence Kasdan was brought on to write the script this past summer.
