Do you want to tell me what qualities that Muramasa is lacking compared to anything SE has released on this generation of consoles? Since you seem to know so much on the subject.

I can tell you one triumph at least, and that's the art style, which is way more appealing than the stale androgynous white/asian fusion, emo, belt and zipper enraptured characters Nomura has been pouring out into everything coming out of SE lately.

Nomura isn't a good character designer imo. All of his characters look the same. In KH2, I could barely make the difference between any member of organization XIII.

OT: Level 5 won't be the new Square Enix for a long time. They are just now starting to publish their own games (in Japan only). And if they are bought, they'll become just another studio.



How many cups of darkness have I drank over the years? Even I don't know...

Can L5 be the next Square? Maybe.

Is L5 better than Square? Not by a long shot.

Will they ever be better than Square? I doubt it.

Will Marvelous be the next Square? Dear god no.

Im sorry. VanillaWare's games are awesome, but you gotta stop the hate. FFVS13 looks fantastic, the gothic (im talking architechture) art style is something new for the series. And you realize that everything you said in the bolded can be applied to the guy from Muramasa.
