Are they making games or just publishing?

Both.

Do you want to tell me what qualities that Muramasa is lacking compared to anything SE has released on this generation of consoles? Since you seem to know so much on the subject.

I can tell you one triumph at least, and that's the art style, which is way more appealing than the stale androgynous white/asian fusion, emo, belt and zipper enraptured characters Nomura has been pouring out into everything coming out of SE lately.

Creepy and awesome.

Creepy and not awesome.

Easy there.  Let's wait for the game to get released here before calling it great.

LAIR looked great once upon a time too.

The art style si exactly what ruins it in my eyes.

TLR is coming out soon to show: Namco > L5 > Mistwalker > SE > Marvelous

I didn't call it great.

I just said it had more appealing art. Which it does.

Semantics.  You know better than that.

As far as art goes, I can't play art.   Doesn't matter how many belts a character has if the game is fun but even "appealing art" won't save a game if the gameplay reeks like steaming pile of dung.

Of course, with trailers as nice as we've seen it should (hopefully) be pretty hard for the developers to screw up the game in between those and release.

Actually, Muramasa is probably as close to "playing art" as you can get.
