PSU? How much power would you need for a HD 4850? Is 500 watts good enough?

What games will you be playing on the HTPC?
Just FYI, I run an HD 4850 with a 380w Earthwatts PSU.

500 watts would be fine as long as the PSU is good quality and the 12volt rails provide enough power. You'll also want to make sure it has at least one (preferably 2) 6 pin PCI-E power connectors.

ATi just announced the HD4830. Price should drop another $20-30 real soon just like the 4850 and 4870 did.
