for someone who kept on saying in every Fable 2 thread title "RPG of the year" to now suddenly be saying "oh I expect an 8.5" is called either getting Cold Feet or deliberately lowering expectations

i.e. SONY's PS3 Sales forecast this year (where we all knew they can easily exceed their target.....but we also know they did it on purpose to say "we exceeded PS3 sales expectations".

@ jaggedsac and starcraft: I know he always maintained the 85, but if you are really psyched about this game (and it seems to be justified from what I've seen myself), then there's no need to downplay it and just call it the way you want it to be (a 90+ game I'd reckon).

It just comes off as "hmmm, I'll put it lower than I want it / expect it to be". It's mainly a female thing, to hedge your words, so snap out of it starcraft :p

If it's has an 8.5, then it can't be RPG of the year, seeing as that Valkyria Chronicles is looking to have a higher score than that ^_^

I am really psyched for this game because I loved the first.

The first got 8.5.  I really want it to be a 90+ game of course.  I just dont have confidence many people will see it the way I do.

I don't know why the change of heart, but every post used to be RPG-GOTY, and now it's only an 8.5
