The gamecube mini discs were approximately the same size, and the graphics are much better (relatively speaking).

A bunch of the games Ive played on PSP in 3D look blocky as hell which is why I dont care for the PSPs graphics. I dont care if it can run 3D, Most of it looks like shit. Id rather play clean 2D games on DS.

Some games however do look good like God of War and Bleach HTS games thanks to its Cell Shading.
Crisis Core looks like shit no matter what anyone tells me.

Ridge Racer is still the best looking game on the system and that game came out day 1. Frigging gorgeous.

While I believe the PSP and PS2 offer graphics that are in a similiar range, the PS2 is still more powerful since you often have PSP games ported to the PS2 with better draw distances, more texture, and less texture pop-ins. This was the case with Twisted Metal Heads On, GTA VC, RC Size Matters, etc.

Besides, until recently, the PSP was limited to 222 MHz until the God of War game.

i always find it quite ironic when Nintendo fans ranting about other console's graphical power.... and when talking about its own console, it's always abouts how graphics doesn't mean anything.

the fact PSP's graphics doesn't look God of War 2? Because of battery limitation. Same reason you don't see best looking N64 games on DS, exact same reason.

Good point. I'm just amazed that considering the power of the psp that it still has a decent battery life.
