So ummmm one of the trophies is called "maxed out" and it says to upgrade all weapons and equipment. The question here is does this mean upgrade each atleast with 1 upgrade or does everything have to be fully upgraded. I would assume it is full upgrade on everything since it uses the word "maxed". If it is holy crap this is gonna take like 3 times through the game atleast to get that many of those upgrades... Am I wrong or am I missing something here?

It does mean to fully upgrade all weapons. If you are willing to spend some money at the stores on power nodes, this trophy can easily be attained.

I'm pretty sure you do not need to upgrade EVERY slot of a weapon to have it fully upgraded, just the neccessary ones.

So I have all the trophies except for 2. The gold for beating on the super hard mode "I assume thats the mode that unlocks for beating the game on easy right? the 4th difficulty setting?" and Iam also missing the trophy for getting atleast 50% shielding on the meteor defense thing. That one is hard for me for some reason, I keep ending up between 30-40% shield. Anyone have the platinum for this game yet?

I got the Platinum trophy for Dead Space yesterday. For the Maxed out trophy, you have to max it out everything. The first time I played Dead Space I played it on hard with only using the Plasma Cutter. Then I played it on Impossible and to me it was easier than hard but that could be because i was using all the weapons. I had to beat the game three times to get platinum. Once on hard and twice on Impossible.
