there is not technological advance, or anything utter expectacular, even competition was nuked.

It's not shovelware in any way. It's too well done to be shovelware... the gameplay looks fun, and don't mind the competetive elements, the game is not intended for that. It's intended to be good fun for your whole family, and it will do this job well.

Is major shovelware better than regular and lesser shovelwares?

What exactly to you need to qualify for being major?

If you put the ranks on a bar, it'll look like...

Good---Normal---Bad

Major---Regular---Lesser

Now, since we consider bad games as shovelware, that would put major shovelware right into the "Normal" range.
