If you put it through a week then it will have 4 (depending which day the week starts with, there will be either Guitar Hero: World Tour or Rock Band 2). Of course not all of the contestants on the PS3 new release list next week could be amidst the proud AAA titles.

Of course then again, there are a lot of games coming out on the PS3 that week. Some really good. Some reallllly bad.

 

Three of those games look amazing, two look very good, four look good and the other two are just offensively horrible.

Can you guess which is which (in my opinion) ?

 

ugh...there is nothing "offensively horrible" amoung those games.  the ps3 needs some of that "casual crap" if it is to have any hope of finding it's way into the mainstream.  have you not noticed that ~50% of the population is not male?  what about children...i know they are small but surely you've noticed a few of them around too right?

Not sure how Bioshock is rated higher than LBP.... that's a very sad thing to think about.

It's sad because??? You do know that Bioshock won several 2007 GOTY awards last year (when it originally came out). I'd expect the PS3 version to be at least equal in quality to the 360 version, which means it is still a quality game (even if it is a year later)

Are you expecting LBP to win GOTY awards? I thought most PS3 owners were saying MGS4 would be GOTY?

@smbu2000 - I think you can make a strong case for either LBP or MGS4 to be GOTY.

Crap I'm going to be out at least 600 bucks before the end of the year, not even counting PC games. Dead Space, LBP, Bioshock, Rock Band 2, Legendary (maybe, depends on reviews), GH World Tour, Resistance 2, Eternal Sonata, Fallout 3, Motorstorm, Quantum of Solace (depends on reviews), Valkyria Chronicles, Prince of Persia..

Thats 11 for sure games and 2 maybes...almost 800 dollars of gaming. I really need to get gamefly again and narrow that list down a bit or I'll go broke :-/.

Never was a fan of MGS4.

And don't get me wrong, I'm sure Bioshock on the PS3 will be everything that it was on the 360 and more.  A fantastic game without a doubt.  I just think LBP is doing more for the gaming industry, and deserves to be acclaimed as much.
