I saw that pic in a pre N64 issue of Nintendo Power! It's from the 64 version. A Snes version of Mario 64 would've cost 100 bucks or needed a 32X type add on.

What are you refering to when you say "that looks cool"? There aren't any pictures of Super Mario FX, the one in the OP is from an early build of Super Mario 64.

Yeah, it's a photo from an early development, I don't know why I put it in there. Maybe just to demonstrate an early 3D rendition of Mario
