Please do the bare minimum research required before attacking my points. I hate having to reply 3,000 times to a topic because someone never bothered to get the widely publicized information that is being talked about.

You mean the article that says Morningstar published an article saying they heard a Konami public relations representative say "We're actively looking into a release for the Xbox 360." is research? Wow. Mindblowing. That makes a huge difference to that statement being a rumor.

 

 No, not at all. I mean that Morningstar is a credible company and it has been mentioned in every article relating this bit of news. Claiming it is from some unnamed company shows you did not have that basic piece of information and needed to look into the topic further before attempting to discuss it. And yes it does a lot to dispell it from being word of mouth as a company has come forward with it and would harm their relations with Konami (and other companies forthat matter) if it was entirely false.

 

First part doesn't show anything specific and is nothing more than comments as of right now. The only things that are fact are that Hideo Kojima left Konami development after a MGS game went to Xbox, and has repeatedly refused allowing MGS4 on Xbox360. And I believe Hideo Kojima said Metal Gear Solid 4 was to be exclusive to PS3 forever.

 No, there are many things that are fact that are being brought up in this conversation. It is a fact that Kojima does not hate the 360, and wants to make a game for it as I said. It is also fact that Kojima does not have final say over where the game goes as he does not own the rights to the game, nor does he have complete control over Konami who does own the rights to the game.

 

^^I already read that interview. However, I don't see him moving MGS4 anywhere due to the success it had already. Should be 4 million LTD. After that article, I see him making multiplats.

 That article was in response to him asking about the Kojima 360 game and not so much as it relates to the 360 getting MGS4. Hell the article itself says he isn't going to bring it over to the 360 most likely. I would say though that the fact that Konami is even looking at the possibility means they aren't thrilled with the sales so far. I wouldn't say they are dispointed either as they haven't announced a port and have taken a decently long time to start making noise about the project.

PS No it will not be 4 million LTD (life time to date) as it has not sold 4 million copies as of today. At some later date it might hit 4 million, but since it hasn't yet saying it has 4 million LTD is innaccurate. Yes I know I am nit picking, but I hate the way the acronym is abused.

I believe that would be the developers. Kojima Productions.

 When did Konami sell the rights to the Metal Gear Solid IP again? I would really like a link to that as it would have been big news.
