Around the Network

NES - Playing Mario for the 1st time at my granma's
SNES - Calling the Nintendo Power help line to find the red switch palace in Super Mario World
N64 - Renting it and playing Super Mario 64 for the 1st time.
GCN - Blown away by Rogue Squadron II + best console ever.

MegaDrive - MicroMachines (all of them) and PGA tour golf.

N64 - Goldeneye, Banjo Tooie, Pilotwings, Blast Corps

GameCube - Wave Race, Windwaker, SW:RSII, Ocarina of Time.

NES: Track and Field on the Power Pad. Awesome.

Genesis: Sonic the Hedgehog 2, and the start of my love affair.

Game Boy: Pokemon Red, Missingno., and Rare Candies.

SNES:
Being blown away from the "massive" (compared to Sonic) world of Super Mario World.

PS1: Every time I would go over to my friends house, we'd rent and play Resident Evil 3. STAAARS!

N64: Super Mario 64's castle grounds. Running around aimlessly had never been so fun.

Gameboy Advance: Instead of a copy of Castlevania: Circle of the Moon, the box contained 2 packets of Taco Bell hot sauce.

PS2: I'd watch my friend play Metal Gear Solid 2. And after that we'd play The Adventures of Cookies & Cream...

Xbox: Halo battles. I was never any good. That is, until I found the shotgun. ^_^

GameCube:
The first time I took control of the legendary bounty hunter Samus Aran. Never looked back. Oh, and visiting Hyrule Temple for the first time in the Wind Waker... amazing.

Oh lordy, I messed up on this thread didn't I?

My first rough draft was just consoles I owned (Nintendo Fanboy), and my second rough draft includes both Wii and 360, which happen to be current gen consoles (PS3 fanboy).

Obviously I am a confused individual.

I remember "up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, B, A, select, start."

I remember thinking that Ultra 64 was a much better name than Nintendo 64.

I remember believing that I was a JRPG fan after experiencing Chrono Trigger.

I remember realizing that I wasn't a JRPG fan after experiencing Final Fantasy VII.

I remember getting into fist fights with my brother when we played 2-player games on the NES.

That was me in 1996. Watching my friend play Super Mario 64. that was bullshit. the ass never gave me a turn.

The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask is the best Zelda title ever made.

"The Person Who Got the Closest to Winning the 1st VGC VC Giveaway, but still lost"

NES: Playing mario at day care back before I moved to Kansas in 3rd grade.

SNES: In Tetris Attack, it does not matter if the screen is full of blocks as long as you are currently making a combo. You will not lose. One time, me and my best friends were playing competitive Tetris Attack. We both sent enough blocks at each other to fill the screen, yet the battle lasted another 10 min or so with us both running a continous combo formed by splitting apart the solid blocks at the top of the screen. I lost.

N64: I got 149/150 stars in Mario 64 and gave up getting the last one in the carpet ride stage :(

PSone: My best friend from above kept complaining that Final Fantasy 7 & 8 on PSone were harder than the Final Fantasy 7 & 8 I was playing...on the PC. I don't know if that is true, or if he is not very good at it.

GC: When I traded in my Super Smash Brothers Melee (foolish decision), me and my best friend (again, from above) had logged a total of over 300 hours on the game.

PS2: I found out first hand that if you are jumping off a loft bed ladder, landing on a PS2 will ensure it's destruction.

XBOX: Playing FPS with a mouse and keyboard is much better than playing them on a XBOX controller. Some people would say it takes more skill to play FPS with a controller. I told them that it takes more skill to drive a car with 3 flat tires, but it is not neccesarily a good idea.
