I was wondering this as well.  Are you asking if PS3 will be the last Sony Console?  No, I don't think so

 Wow...only everyone would beg to differ.  I think the console is the best looking of the 3 this gen, by far.  It fits in much better with the majority of peoples entertainment centers than either of the other 2, and the shiny finish is leagues better than the ugly charcoal of the 360 elite.  I still don't understand why they did that.

But to each his own, I suppose.

I don't believe the PS3 will be the last console. That would be the brain-embedded Wiiiiiii (6th generation Wii) in 2056. You know... the one with dual-lobe processing, an infinite color palette and resolution, and the ultimate in intuitive controls.

I don't know Phrancheyes.  I think the PS3 is ugly as sin.  But fortunately, how ugly the console is, doesn't affect what it can do.

THX CGI-Quality ^^! Ditto!

The PS3 could very well be the end all be all. I think it will last through this gen AND the next. Expect the 360 and Wii to feel severely outdated by this time 2011. Around that time these consoles will be moving on to their next thing. Not Sony's PlayStation though, no sir. This system will stay intact. Why? because Sony thought ahead, that's why. Sony threw in everything a gamer will need for quite some time. You might feel you don't need it now, but you will in the long run. And when the time comes where you have recognized the PS3's necessity is when you feel slightly foolish for ever doubting it in the first place. Early adopters will reap the benefits of not having to buy another console so soon, and 360/Wii owners will be shopping for something new if not already.

Oh, Please excuse my usage of "You". It is not literal.
