So, the trophy system's been available for a while now, and I was thinking about somethin' (yes belgian think!): Why doing this all trophy hunting? Do u think will be rewarded for having a platinum trophy? I thought that it would be cool if we could get exclusive content to dress our home's avatar f.i. or get a 1€ to spend on the PSN for each platinum trophy. So do u think sony will do that or something similar? Discuss, and be smart!

there have been talks about such things being implemented in Home, but I dont see it happening.

The real draw to trophies, is to have someone else to compete against for the max trophy count. (for me anyways)

In home, a trophy room showing your best trophies could be cool I guess, and I think this is in home.. or definitely will be.

but more integration would be welcome.

For example: get a platinum - unlock a new game mode/level/gun.
that would be absolute incentive.

Content for home would be cool, they might add stuff similar to some 360 games, certain achievements unlock things in the game. Like Mass Effect unlocks a skill if you get the achievement for it. The money thing seems impossible though. I really doubt any game company would award you money for playing their games unless it's your job.

trophy implementation will be in the home(Sony have said it before).they have some ideas about how to use trophies.
