I also got 2 2000 wii point cards for $10 a piece with their %40 off in store deal.
A few more notes; the Wii section was nearly cleared out in store, so half of those purchases were done online. Suprisingly there was 5 copies of Wii FIt in store....I was going to buy a few to resell during Christmas, but my better side told me to leave it to people who actually want it. The DS games you expect to be sold out(mario, nintendogs, ect) were. 360 and PS3 sections were well stocked and not many people were looking at them, I guess its the nature of the store. The Wii sections in TRU are disproportionately large. It was 3x as large as the 360 and PS3's individual sections.
After purchasing a years worth of games in a few hours I feel I will be feeling some serious buyers remorse. Seldom do I spend that much money on one shot but its that time of year. So what did everyone else get?
Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.
Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.
