Yeah, demand is high. It's out of discussion. Read some comments on this site regards Wii's sale though. People all the time talk about supply constrained Wii. It isn't supply constrained in Europe any more. It won't be supply constrained in USA too. Soon. Not because of production increase but because of slow down. Slow down will come when big next gen games arrive. GTA, HS, Lair, Halo etc. People will understand - shit, I'm still playing GC...

i dont get this kind of thinking. it's not the gamers that are driving demand. it's the expanded audience. since when has the expanded audience cared about those games you mentioned? they dont care if it's got GC graphics. they really only care about how fun it is to use the Remote.

so how will great looking games with complex controls attract people who dont put so much emphasis on graphics and dislike traditional controls? yes demand will slow down but not because of those games.

A console is in stock after 8 months since its release, stop the presses. I have seen the same exact threads months ago and yet I dont see much of a difference. I am glad that Wiis are in stock which means that when people go to a store they might actually get one. Impulsive buyers ftw.
