The rain was actually easier than it may look. I simply created a single raindrop and then put several emitters on a cloud. I set the timing of each to stagger the fall and set the lifetime of each drop to dissolve as it hit the ground. I just replicated the cloud many times over, added some rain and thunder sound effects and had a lightning bolt appear. Voila, instant storm. I actually had to scale back the number of drops per cloud because it caused some big time slowdown in my level. There used to be 11 per cloud, now there's 6. The framerate may still dip in the level sometimes, but that's not something I can help for. It's game limitations, which is slightly disappointing. Hopefully you'll like my short underwater sequence as well. My bad guy at the end admittedly needs work, but my 4 yr. old thought he was funny. I made him before I had a full grasp of the physics and gadgets, but he's still kinda cool.
