@WiiGirl: Punch Out because the bosses are similar with the timing and strategy elements. But I haven't played it, I say my impression because a couple American previews made this corrolation.
@PS3owner: You just don't seem to get it. People are buying the Wii and DS because it either meets their desires or makes them realize they want something that it offers that they didn't previously want. While shooter and other traditional games are popular, and will be popular on Wii and DS, the biggest asset to the Wii, DS, and PSone and 2 were/are the diversity of their libraries. They have Action, Adventure, Shooters, Flying, Music, Alternative Genres, etc. The PS1 and 2 offered lots of games not available anywhere else. DS and Wii offer experiences not available any where else.
I own a Wii but I am also a PS3 owner, because I like good graphics and traditional gameplay. I play WiiPlay and Big Brain more than anything else right now... trying to top my scores. I also play GTHD concept alot... trying to top my scores. That is what makes these games addictive to me, they are quick to pick up, and I challenge myself not 400 alien-nazi-zombies with chainsaws challenging me(though killing hordes of them are fun too). I can't say that is why other Wii owners play it, but it is one reason.
The return of the score, I am glad it is back. In fact now that I think of it many of my favorite games have the high score/best time element (WiiPlay, Elebits, GT, Older SMB games) but some don't (FF, Newer Mario Games, etc.)
I would cite regulation, but I know you will simply ignore it.
