No. I've played plenty. I own the first. Thanks.

And Legendary is still run and gun. Difficulty doesn't change that. All it means is that you gun more than you run now.

Run and gun games are COD 4, Doom3, Resistance, Killzone 1.

Halo any of them are not run and gun. They require set piece planning, and the AI (voted one of the best in FPS) frequently outflanks and so on. Now Cod4 theres a game with no tacics. I finished it first time in Veteran in about 8 hours. The level when your pinned down on the farm and you have to get to the chopper on the river is a prime example of run and gun. I ran almost the entire way with no tactics at all. You simply cannot play Halo this way no matter how good you are.

that level was designed to be a run and gun, hence the whole reason why you are pinned down on the farm and have to get to the chopper. and halo is a run and gun game, single player, multiplayer, co-op, whatever it was designed to be a run and gun fast paced game. and it does it so well...which is why it is loved so much
