It just like the console is selling pretty well for the price and this is STILL a Playstation console : it appeals to a lot of people, even to xbox360 owners indeed ...

Since Sony has still some good exclusives in their pocket (even if they come from 1st party studio and if some are new IPs).

 You'd rather invest your money on XBox console that will only last you 4 years each generation as opposed to a PS console which average about 8 or 9 years?  Why would you prefer to have to buy a console over twice when you can just buy one, the PS3 that will span the life of the XBox 360 and the XBox 720?  Keep in mind the $100 the most people save on XBox 360 is usually exceeded when they comes to buy the accessories and memberships that the PS3 comes with at $399.

What is comes down to is you'd rather spend more money and more money more often.  Hope you never run a business. 

 Why not just sell the 360 and enjoy all three of the games you mentioned?  You're saving money since the PS3 will last you another 6 years while the 360 and it's DVD format won't push it past 2009.  We also seen how MS pulled the rug from underneath the original XBox's owner's feet after just 4 years.  Two key factors that point to MS dumping the 360 after 2009.  The PS3 has more exclusives, you are missing out on many more games.  360 games that aren't on PS3 can just be played on a computer.  PS3 games that aren't on 360 can't.

Access to more exclusives, pay less and enjoy yourself longer.

4 years? The 360 is going to last longer than that. The PS3 is going to last 10 years for financial reasons. Sony is the one playing the defiant angle to the generations. They can make their maximum profits, but tehy wont have anything to compare it to in the end. The PS4 and the PS3 are going to be around at the same time. You try enjoying what the PS3 has when you have to pay for another Sony system. The good thing about Microsoft and Nintendo is that they give up, so that their newer systems can enjoy maximum profitability, while Some PS2 owners haven't even moved onto a PS2. Most of the PS2 owners that I know either have a Wii or a 360. Only 2 people that I know have a PS3.

I know, seriously. Investing in a better games line-up and better online service? Some people just don't know what they're talking about.

I mean, when you look at the number of must-have AAA for the 360 and the PS3, you save countless hundreds of dollars by factoring in that you only have a few to buy for the PS3 too! Not to mention time saved... A year ago, if I'd wisely invested in a PS3 instead of a 360, I would have had the more than 50 hours I spent on 3 Mass effect playthroughs back! With 50 hours, I coulda played all of PS3's top-tier games at the time, with hours to spare! I coulda put em into more Madden 08, seeing as how I didn't want those 30 extra FPS anyway...

How will selling his 360 enable him to play all three games? Forza is 360 only(no pc version), Tekken is multi so he can get that on his 360, GT5 is PS3 only so that's the only game he currently can't play. It's a choice between Forza and GT5, which is subjective.

I'm not. Me and my bf will own all consoles/handhelds of this gen together! ^^

if u can afford it why not go with all platforms instead of sticking to 360

if u geniunely have no interest in any other consoles games then sure stick to the 360 but 90% of the case this isnt true
