Before I get to the numbers, I must rejoice. This is my second #1 for the Prediction League in a row for American predictions. And they're the only #1s I've ever got before, hehe.

Notes: Nothing major, aside from some pretty hefty drops, yet again. Like last week, there were no software winners. GH2 took a huge plunge, as it's always held remarkably. However, even @ 20k/wk, it's still doing rather well.
IMO, Overlord continues to do rather well @ 20k. That isn't much, but the game should enjoy a decent life, and Im glad sales have been decent for it.
News: Transformers hit 100k, Gears hit 2.8m, CoD3 is way up, and will easily break 1.1m, MLB2k7 hit 550k.

Overall, this week was fairly decent in Japan. GRAW 2 debuted just around where I'd hope it would. Although 8.9k is not very significant, it's already 4,000 units away from besting GRAW 1 numbers. Expect a massive drop next week (70%+), ala Saints Row.
Aside from this, drops were fairly good. Trusty Bell had a decent drop, and even at 23% drops over the rest of it's life (which is too low, for this extrapolation), Trusty Bell will end up @ just above 70k LTD. However, with a big lineup for the X360 over the next few weeks, hardware boosts should provide TB, as well as other games, strong drops over the next few weeks.
A quick highlight of the Japanese line-up: Oblivion (7/26), Hitman: Blood Money (8/30), Fatal Inertia (9/06), Mousou Orochi (9/13), Halo 3 (9/27), Ace Combat (11/01). Most of these should be decent numbers, and aren't the entire lineup in Japan, just the ones with actual dates.
The rest of the holdovers did decent, expecially Viva Pinata, which keeps doing real well, despite such an abysmal start.
Next week: Expect low Japanese numbers. Software will be around, or under 10k total. However, US software will be insane. NCAA 08 and All Pro Football launched this week. NCAA 08 should hit ~300k, and All-Pro should reach ~75k. Add in holdover software with a typical drop of around 60k, and total software will be well above 600k for the week - far above the other respective systems, and should hit #4 or higher for best software of the week. Likewise, NCAA 08 should get #3 for top-opening weeks for the year (next to God of War and Pokemon D/P), and the best X360 debut of the year.
Back from the dead, I'm afraid.
