I am very excited for this new Halo experience.

I was hoping for a ghost recon style game

Just watched the trailer. Very nicely done.

As a fan of HALO 3, this is exciting as heck, and while we all love Master chief, it is VERY nice to be playing someone else. Maybe we can even customize the character for more personalize play. From a business perspective, it’s a MASSIVE boon for M$. I’m not sure if this will go retail or stay DLC, but here’s this thing of it…This will lead the 2009 holiday line-up for M$. I can a “new” Halo edition 360, with the game for those who don’t already own it. Then there’s the lower development cost for using the same engine, and instead just improving on the already existing one. Maybe they can even have a few specialization features of the recon marine. I’m excited about it, and DLC will mean a lower entry price for the product, even though it will be like a new game.

Oh now there are 5 Halo games!!! This is unheard of! No games series has ever had that many games in its series!!!!

Trailer looks awesome. He looks to be carrying a new weapon w/ silencer. Be cool if there were more stealth tactical elements to the game.

Hell, counting only currently-announced titles, Kingdom Hearts has more spinoffs than main games XD

@jasonnc80: Read Gebx's post in the other thread--there's more emphasis on stealth (it's no Splinter Cell, seems to be more akin to James Bond: Everything or Nothing in that regard)
