My opinion: Goodbye FFXIII 2008. Hello FFXIII2009!

Wow. It was 13% a few months ago, and the fact that they said that it now won't be playable before 2008 just sends the message that they haven't been working much on it...or maybe, that they're working on putting it elsewhere...

 I doubt they've shifted resources, I think they're just taking the time to make it good and that meant redesigning the core gameplay.  I hadn't really expected much from FFXIII at all and had no plans on getting it (The FF series has been going downhill for a long time and this one with many spin offs already announced didn't sound much better), but if this is the case, I'm starting to get a little bit hopeful for it.

Well as expect wii fanboys jumped all over it, lol reminds me of the xbots and MGS rumors.

13% and 1.3%, no one sees it ? really no one.

More time put into development is a good thing. Except it means more waiting.

 If you're referring to my comment...I'm not just mad at the FF creators for throwing around numbers...if they do that for any Nintendo game I'd be just as irritated.

And yes, we see the 13% and 1.3%...if you actually read the comments, you'd see we already talked about that...

That's horrible. I remember one sig saying "Delayed games means delayed domination", If this is true wait for FFXIII in summer 2009.

Well i wouldn't be surprised if they had shift resources they have The Last Remnant to finish for PS3/360 before Christmas so it possible after that they will probably work all out on this until it atleast 80% finished then start to announce more games and shift resources again so if they do that it might be out Christmas 08......hopefully.
