i own iron man on dvd and bluray, not gonna get the dark knight. because i thought it was very weak in story and i liked the 2 batman movies that tim burton directed better, just my opinon. i am getting transformers and the matrix movies on bluray next.

You're not buying Dark Knight because of a weak story, but you are buying Transformers?!?!

Great job, I'm glad this movie did so well on blu-ray. Next movie I'm getting is the dark knight.

The problem with Blu-Ray is not the sales on big blockbuster action movies like this one, the problem their having is on sales of your everyday movie's i.e. comedies, animated film, etc.

What do you expect when the price of a blu-ray movie is 50% higher than the same movie on DVD?

if only HDDVD was chosen instead we wouldn't be having this conversation

HD-DVD discs cost the exact same as Blu-Ray at retail before Toshiba pulled the plug...

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Any numbers for Iron Man DVDs? I want to see a comparison

I haven't found out the sales for it as of yet. But from what I've read one of the biggest openings this year was I Am Legend which sold over 3 million week one in the US. Both Iron man and I Am Legend made over 500 million in the box office world wide so I'm sure Iron Man has put up similar figures (probably more to be honest) in regards to its DVD sales. Its not unheard of for some major block busters to sell over 10 million world wide week one.

would this have something to do with MS finally deciding to make a bluray addon?

At my local stores HD-DVD's were always $5 less.

Its really hard to get actual numbers on Blu-Ray and DVD sales. You have to pay to get those numbers and they are guarded pretty closely. All we get are %'s unless one of the studios comes out with a press release.

Just wait for the batman.

If the dark night had any weaknesses it was the over stiff performance by bale. Monotone gruff vocals piss me off.

Very nice, I do want to get it on BluRay.
