80G PS3 coming to Japan

i dont get it, just regular old 80gb? or different colors? or a new 80gb bundle? thought they already had 80gb and were about to get 160gb?

it looks like it comes with gt5p.

80g was officially announced on NA and EU but was not in Japan.

the 2nd screen looks cool. LBP w/ 2 DS3?? thats a big win, wonder if thats 160gb or 80gb

do you know if the price is reduced compared to the 40gb ???

or no price drop, special offer ???

I really think the US should be getting the LBP bundle instead of the Uncharted one. And Sony should give us all those different colored PS3s while they're at it.

Japan has never had the 80gb PS3. Originally they had the 60gb/20gb Full BC PS3 (like the US). The 40gb No BC PS3 was introduced last November. Then very early this year the 60/20gb PS3's were discontinued and all that has been left is the 40gb no BC PS3. The 40gb No BC PS3 is available in all those colors already. This new bundle is basically a hdd upgrade (40gb -> 80gb) and GT5P included as well.(I'm assuming this is the same 80gb No BC PS3 as in the US) The price is the same as the current 40gb PS3.
