It could be. I'm on the border of Emeryville and Oakland, and Oakland is way huger. Emeryville is the tiny sliver between Oakland and Berkeley to keep the hippies and the thugs apart, just big enough to have Pixar Studios, an IKEA, and an Apple Store.
