I think I can safely say that Steam is high on our list of priorities, and that we are talking to them. Whether it ends up on the service is up to them though. But yeah, Flowerworks on Steam would make me very happy :)

Flowerworks is essentially a "casual" game, so it has "casual PC" requirements.
If you have even a half decent 3D card (read: something with RAM, and not just the bottom of the line 3D accelerator), and a PC that clocks over 1Ghz (approx) - it should run fine.
Our "admin" machine at work (which is a new machine, and pretty fast) was running FW at 60fps using about 5% CPU utilisation (dual CPU machine).
Most machines should run it no problem.
