Geoffrey the cat, he wont leave our house. He has adopted me and my housemates. He refuses to go away, we put him out and 2 minutes later he is back in the house, he never leaves. I guess the little fella needs somewhere to live so I can't exactly kick him out now that winters coming. I think the people who lived at this house before us used to keep him as a pet and when they moved out they just left him at the house so it is more his home than mine.
The worst problem is that, well, let's just say he has a bad sense of hygiene. The cat smells like a public toilet so I'm going to have to bath him regularly until he learns better. Also I can't afford food for myself (having a £15 food budget a week is a little tight) so how am I supposed to feed a cat? (I guess I could ask my housemates to feed him, but they are in the same situation as me)
So what shall I do, shall I let him live with me or suggest to my housemates that he should be rehomed?
