My dad bought an xbox 360?!

The Pro's were on sale for $199 so he bought it with an extra controller. He says he's going to use it to play arcade games.

Here's the thing, my dad NEVER plays video games. I can't remember the last time he's picked up a controller, at 55 he's definately not in the prime x360 demopraphic. I couldn't believe it when I saw a x360 pro box sitting by his TV.

Congrats microsoft, you're doing something right selling a $200 console to someone who will in all likeliness use it twice.

make sure he does every thing he needs to stop it from over heating

he could of got an atari at a garage sell for $20 and he would of liked it more. the 360 controller is not going to bring back that old nastalgic feeling he had with the old arcade games.....but an atari probably would have

some minigolf game

a brain challange game (which i can only assume is a ripoff of brain training)

and he's going to use it as a dvd player.

amazing, when i told him that he could of bought a ps2 and found similar games, he said that the xbox 360 was the only one that had the games he wanted. from this i can only conclude xbla = system seller confirmed.
