Other evidence.  Shadow can equip the "Memento Ring" given to Relm from her mother.

Relm is the only other person Shadow and Interceptor likes.

Don't forget the fact that Interceptor only likes Shadow and Relm, and that if Shadow dies he sticks with her.

 

Yeah I meant interceptor when I put Shadow for some reason.
