I also get angered by threads about the closeness of sales between PS1, PS2 and PS3.. because of their repitition.. however, I really don't think this thread will help.. lets say somehow it stays on this front page for a week (ok..lets even say a month), the next week, someone else is going to say the exact same thing, never knowing this thread existed
The point for the thread was valid, in that people are definitely improperly comparing the consoles with incomplete data on the PS1 and PS2.
That said, the "HA HA HA" and self-admitted "being a schmuck" was completely unnecessary.

Sensitivity has nothing to do with it. Nearly any topic regarding PS3 sales is half an inch away from becoming flamebait, and adding "HA HA HA" is just instigating drama. It's unnecessary and jerkish.
