Forums - Website Topics - Does VGChartz get good traffic?

I was wondering, because we usually have around 2,000 people on at one time, so does that constitute getting a lot of views or is it negligible?

Actually, according to Alexa, vgChartz is actually going down in views.

Google Analytics is running however so Ioi should have more information.

Neogaf is going down by the same percentages, so that would mean it's more of a global gaming thing and not just VG Chartz being less popular

Not surprised it's going down in Views.

For a few months virus have been rampant on the site and this is probably making a lot of users stay away from the site ( today I reached a new level, from the browser telling me one page wasn't safe to browse I improved to actually some virus managing to install on my HDD and being detected by my anti virus...)...

From my memory of Alexa, Vgchartz is following the same trend as last year. It peaked in May this year and will be featuring traffic declines until the holiday season. I was equally worried when I saw the rank dropping.

The election may have something to do with it. People are probably spending a lot of time online looking at that. I know I am!

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Thompson
