well , sony will suffer if they cut the price
i don't want them to do so because that will result in a weaker performance in terms of making exclusive first party games

Not going to happen they need every single dollar they can get right now. Their stock has taken a complete hammering in the last few weeks or so as well.

LBP bundles are already annouced here (in france) for 399€

So expect bundles, and maybe a 50€/$ cut for the system only.

College, wont tell you where though. It's only two days off from classes (which translates into a four day weekend) so it's not as nice as Winter or Spring Break (which one is a three week break and the other is a one week break)

Well ,TGS would be the right place to do it,announcing 11 exclusives ,price drop ,the PSP3000 being in sale for the first week etc.

But I think they will buy some more time and take a decision by october end.

Price drop? No way, it would wreck their financials (even $50). Some attractive bundles (like the MGS4 one) would help a lot. Reintroducing b/c (at least in 160 GB) would help a lot and wouldn't cost them nearly as much.

A price cut $99, and it has a chance to outsell the PS3 or 360 this holiday.
