Nice...it should do VERY WELL in Japan, which is where it's being targeted for. I can see a slew of new JRPG on the 360 to be announced in 2009 and beyond.

graphically very appealing, but the chara design of what seems to be the male lead is not my style - ah well who cares about him anyway, the female lead looks delicious ;)

I hope 360 fans will have much fun with this title.

Graphically speaking it looks amazing. Gameplay wise it looks similar to that of SO3 judging from the screens. Looks to be a good title for the 360, a really high quality RPG.

any how looks Great and Im getting it first day as i loved SO3 atleast before the story got nuts near the end. Gunna play SO 1 and 2 on PSP later this year to build up to this game next year.

 

For the same reason you just said "SO3" when the game is called: "Star Ocean: Till the End of Time"


SO1 (or SO): Star Ocean

SO2: Star Ocean: The Second Story

SO3: Star Ocean: Till the End of Time

SO4: Star Ocean: The Last Hope

From an ARPG/SRPG perspective, it's better to be a PS3 owner.

I'm soon an owner of both consoles (dec '08-PS3, mid '09-X360), so I don't really care :P

 

Not really... All the JRPGS on 360 are meiocre or borderline terrible. But that's still better than having none at all i guess. But we still have...

OT: Its wierd; all of my favorite games series that I would never have expected to go to 360 this gen are going to 360 now; Tales, Star Ocean, even Final Fantasy. Yes Stickball, its a great time to be a 360 owner! :D I cant wait for this!



GOTY Contestants this year: Dead Space 2, Dark Souls, Tales of Graces f. Everything else can suck it.

All those series are going to the 360 because of MS's efforts, obviously. Nicely played, I remember watching the 360 launch on TV and they were talking about gaining major Japanese support, and then they were talking about FF XI coming to the 360. Well, better 360 than Wii... those games have good use for powerful hardware but none for motion controls.
