43k is around 50k and its the lowest it gone in ages, and will not likely go down more than that unless shortages are worse and we thought

There are no shortages! All that was said is that there is the potential of shortages later in the holiday season.

It might, but here's the FAR more critical point of perception...there were COUNTLESS estimates and report at the start of 2008, which projected the PS3 not only to top the 360 by a WIDE margin, but even to challenge and top the Wii. Her ewe are in October…right before the holiday shopping season, and it’s looking like 360 might be the one challenging the Wii, albeit a unlikely 360 win. To add to this point, 3rd party publishers are STILL making the most money off the 360, so when you’re WAY behind in a race, status quo doesn’t normally help you. As some would like us to believe, 360 is going on a fire sale because M$ is pulling the plug…with games like Fable and Gears2 on the way, which will have to potential to deliver sales numbers to challenge GTA for the 360…hmmm…it’s going to be a shocking holiday season indeed!
