second and third pic look great, the first one looks meh or better said boring

It's a still image of an empty lot, what would you expect.  During the game you will have massive storms/lightning going on, you also have smoke and fog. You will have 32 players on some of these maps with heli type vehicles going over head with rockets streaking through the air trying to take them out.  You will have gun placements set-up by special classes, you will have grenades going off and people trying to kill you.  I don't think thats boring or meh.  Plus the game is still 4-5 months away.

 Ok lemme rephrase that, the first pic doesn't look special to me, it could be any or one of the many other fps on 360/ps3. Pic 2 and 3 on the other hand look very nice and not many other games hold a candle to that.

And of course a game in motion looks different with stuff going on, on the screen.

It's not really... looks no diffrent then the ground from CoD2.  The color is to washed... I want to see brightness so I can get a sense of how the textures feel next to different colors and lighting.  The game looks great, but nothing outstanding in still.  It's probably much more impressive in motion.

that's a crappy day picture... I'd have liked to see the 3rd on of that last batch in day. That batch is much more impressive the the first three you posted.

I can't tell the difference in this compared to a PS2 game MM :'( What's a texture anyway?
