I think she does extremely well on energy, she does OK on the economy, and her biggest weakness is foriegn policy. But as the VP I'm not really worried about her weakness. In short she holds her own compared to Obama and is lacking compared to Biden and especially compared to McCain.
Edit: PS - That's just comprehension, my favorability to their positions on the issues works out differently.

I have to disagree on the economy unless you have some transcript or clip of a good answer about that one. The ones I remember are extremely poor, like the video in the previous page.
As for energy, it's definitely her strongest point but she seems to overstate the importance of Alaska's resources. She says Alaska provides 20% of US's energy, which is not true (not even if you replace "energy" with "oil"). She also said renewable energy is not proven to be economic or reliable, which is blatantly false.

She is far from the blundering idiot cafferty tried to make her out to be based on a single answer from an interview. Alaska has a 5 billion dollar surplus and just about every facet of their large-business economy is doing well (fishing, mining, drilling, etc..), and while oil prices have helped, things like that don't just happen. Of course from what I've seen of the economic debate in Alaska over the past few weeks the anti-Palin position is that everything that is going well in Alaska is attributed entirely to a non-Palin factor.
On energy: Your point is she embellished her state's importance? So that makes her unqualified? I'm confused because now you're saying its her strong suit but earlier in this thread you said she was clueless on energy.
