I am going to school starting next semester to continue my computer graphics and designing courses, possibly adding another gaming related course to it if I feel I can currently afford it.
Now does anyone know of any good gaming related jobs to help me get my foot in the door? This would be great because I can hopefully bypass that step when my schooling eventually finishes.
I heard of game testing for now but I have no idea what the pros and cons of that job are. I play games all the time anyways so it didn't seem like such a bad idea to at least get paid to waste my time glitch/bug hunting. Seems like a better way to waste my time than forum jumping and playing Unreal Tournament.
Anyone have any good info on this? Recommendations? Reasons for why I shouldn't go for it?
Thanks in advance, any help is greatly appreciated.
