Forums - Nintendo - Eternal Darkness needs a sequel

I went back to playing ED the other day, what an absolutely epic game. The audio, the story, and for the GC - even the graphics.

I'd love to see a sequel come out for the Wii once Motion+ is around. I did notice that Silicon Knights has an unmentioned Wii project on the IGN Release date list. Here's to hoping.

Fav line from ED: "Humans try to weave a web of meaning when there simply may not be one."

I agree with you, the game is superb. Unluckily the most probable thing is that Nintendo will not care about it.

Something's very wrong.

Bets with Conegamer:

Pandora's Tower will have an opening week of less than 37k in Japan. (Won!)
Pandora's Tower will sell less than 100k lifetime in Japan.
Stakes: 1 week of avatar control for each one.

Fullfilled Prophecies

I actually don't care about a sequel or not. I really just wish they made another game using the whole insanity idea. That was my favorite part of the whole game.

If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy

Most of the graphics were amazing, but I think it was let down with a couple of things... items/people/enemies using magic were covered in a rather boring web of the specific colour.... and I remember blood looking like small clouds of red steam when you stab one of the zombie things.

The rest was very impressive though.

I guess Nintendo owns the rights of this game.
