Well a little bit later than usual for me, but here the list comes. Potter is still king but according to the news release sales were down 11% from last week.

With the latest Harry Potter film now on general release, no surprise then that EA’s ‘Harry Potter & The Order Of The Phoenix’ weaves its spell with a third consecutive week at No1, although sales are down 11% over last week.

Nintendo’s DS ‘More Brain Training from Dr. Kawashima’ (-17%) remains at No2 with Activision holding at No3 for a third week in a row with ‘Shrek The Third’, although sales have dropped 28% from last week’s high point. Nintendo climb 2 places to No4 with ‘Wii Play’, ever the barometer of healthy Wii hardware sales thanks to the inclusion of an essential purchase for Wii gamers - an extra Wii Remote. Nintendo debut at No5 with Wii ‘Mario Party 8’ although with a product recall in progress, it remains to be seen what happens next week to sales and chart position. The only other ‘new’ entry actually debuted the week before, but Midway now break in to the Top 40 with their second DS title (after ‘Happy Feet’ last year) – ‘Touchmaster’ the mini-game puzzler is at No29.

 I usually post the full price list, but when Chart Track gives at least precent up and down for the all price chart I will start using that one.

Well first of all I wont to point out that both brain training games are in the top 10 and seems to have stable sells. Mario Strikers seems to be going up again, word of mouth or just worse sales from the other games who knows. As usual Sonic and Tiger is still going strong. They love movie tie-ins more than any other chart...

 that actualy depends on that chart track is putting multiplat on one single line. So Harry Potter is for all plattforms.

LOL, Cooking Mama is back in the top ten!

 I think that is the DS version but I am not sure...

Nevertheless, Cooking Mama is beating out games like Forza and NGS!

Harry Potter is doing a lot better than over here it seems.

HP movie has just launched, so expect sales to boom for a while. I'll bet a good chunk (at least a 1/3rd) of those are Wii sales.

(EB here in Australia - at my store anyway - have slashed 50% off all HP titles. Stupid pricing before, way too expensive...).

Ninty starting to do really well in the British charts - typically one of their weakest markets. 4 titles in the top 6, and the other 2 are available on Ninty (and all) consoles as well.

In fact, 8 of the top 10 titles are available for Ninty consoles. 

To the contrary, PS3 doing terribly. Only one exclusive title in the top 30 (#21), and the 3rd-best selling title (Motorstorm) doesn't make the overall charts.
