How is it even possible to be emotional over anyone's death in DBZ? I could maybe see it up to the point when Goku went Super Saiyan for the first time, but after that, people were gettign resurrected 6 ways from sunday, and even if they did die "permanently", it's not like that stopped them from doing stuff.

Aeris in FFVII.

I was so happy to whoop on the monster at the end of the first disc. Freaking killed Aeris.

- Aeris in FFVII, I loved her personality in the story and her healing limits in battle were really useful so on my first playthrough it was a big NOOOOOOOOOO! when Sephiroth killed her.
- The Boss, not when you kill her but when Eve explains her motives it's really heartbreaking.
- There were a few tragic deaths in FFIV but they all end up not really dead except for Tellah. That old fool!

Little sidenote on Aeris : I don't if someone was as crazy as I was but I once leveled Aeris to get all her limits before she dies and her final limit break was crazy good : it gave your party full hp/mp and you were invincible for a couple of turns. It would have made the game was too easy if she stuck around for discs 2 and 3.

 

As for movies deaths those I can think of right now are :

Mufasa in the Lion King

Brooks in Shawshank's Redemption

I'm sure there's a lot more...

True! But it was more Scar throwing him off the cliff. Greils death in Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance was upsetting too, poor Ike had a heavy load of responsibilty on his shoulders.

Same for me and my fiance. I loved that whole movie, and that ending was pretty much perfect for the entire thing.

If anyone has read the Dark Tower series by Stephen King, there were two moments in the last 2 books that made it a little dusty where I was reading.



The dedication you show to any particular console or company is inversely proportional to the number of times you have gotten laid. If you get laid enough, even if you prefer a certain brand, you just don't give enough of a shit to argue about it on the internet.
