Thousands of PS3 games stolen in heist

Thieves have made off with seven pallets of PS3 games, including 16,000 copies of Brothers In Arms: Hell's Highway, in a heist thought to be worth £600,000.

According to The Sun, a Renault lorry containing the games was impounded by the police only to be stolen and emptied hours later.

The police are appealing for witnesses and have made some arrests after monitoring suspect eBay transactions.

Ubisoft have reassured fans that there won't be any stock shortages: "Fans needn't worry as more stock is being parachuted in."

wow, 7 pallets of ps3 games.  how did no one notice something that big being lifted?

Around the Network

That is pretty extreme to parachute in games

As for such a huge item being stolen, people probably noticed it was being moved, they probably just didn't notice it was going to the wrong location with the wrong people.

If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy
