black lagoon is a really good one, also try Gantz, its starts off a little slow but it has its funny parts, its dark and its interesting... and a little perverted.

@youjiro - ya i've seen rahxephon had to rewatch a few episodes but got it :D, will take a look into black lagoon aadn gantz and maybe some others from you suggestoins just so many suggestions from everyone kind hard to keep up

Alright a new anime I JUST finished caught my attention. It's only 12 episodes, and while it's not Elfen Lied it's still pretty damn impressive. It's Ga-Rei or Ga-Rei Zero.

Sadly it seems like it's the prelude to the Manga by the same name , but it's still absolutely badass nonetheless. Just like in Elfen Lied each episode feels a LOT longer than it is, just because they manage to fit so much so well in each one. However yet another warning, this isn't Elfen Lied quality, but it's still worth the few short hours it takes to watch through.

Edit: Oh yeah the first 2 episodes have to be the best 2 opening eps ever.

Oh, hell yeah!

And also, has somebody already mentioned Yu Yu Hakusho? Cos it's awsome!
