Forums - Gaming - wow...Force unleashed REALLY sucks.

I just rented it and I am blown away by how...not good it is. It's nice they tried with the physics but they are crap. In the first level I fought some guys while boarding an elevator, when the elevator stopped they all rocketed up into the sky while I stood there and waited. A few seconds later they came crashing back down. It's sooo glitchy. I've only been through a stage and a half and I've gotten stuck in object or small secret rooms three times, once I had to reset, twice I managed to get myself out with alot of random jumping and dashing. It shouldn't be this glitchy. In the first stage with darth vader it seemed like trees would break for no reason, and the physics really didn't seem slick seeing as how hitting a tree with my lightsaber rendered the same results as using my force push.

In the second level I got to where there is the big engine you electrify to start putting heat on the big peice of metal to make a bridge, I took a couple steps forward and then a cutscene ensues showing some big machine monster being formed, after the cutscene I fell into a pit. I don't mean I walked into a pit, I mean the cutscene ended and I was falling in a pit and died, no idea why. I go through that part again, kill him this time, make the bridge, and start to cross it. I get to a point where I have to double jump to the next section. I double jump, dash in mid air to get those last few feet, except my dash doesn't go anywhere, it just does the animation while staying stationary and then I fall to my death and have to do the whole fight over again. I do the sequence over again, start the engine kill some enemies, fight the big machine monster thing, and this time heading over to the bridge I step too close to a slanted edge I guess and I just start sliding right into the pit of death. This is notsolid, this is not quality.

I don't really need to mention the problems targeting or aiming where you want to throw or anything because that's been done in every single review thus far. This definately goes into the Haze, Too Human, ect ect file of promising games that went horribly awry.

The best part of the game is the story in my opinion;

I just wished they made a movie with that story;...

Wow, I knew the game got bad reviews. But I didn't think it would actually be THAT bad, reviews or not.
Lol, that's classic.

Sony will prevail. My 60 gig says so.

PlayStation 3 Games:

- Rock Band
- Rock Band 2
- Soulcalibur IV
- LittleBigPlanet
- Guitar Hero: World Tour

I'm only judging this game on what I've seen with my own eyes. I haven't played it for more than 15 minutes.

I watched my friend go through a level. It glitched about four times in the half hour I was watching him play. Also, the level that I saw seemed very repetitive. He simply ran from room to room killing endless hordes of enemies. From what I saw, it had an Assassin's Creed level of repetitiveness; not a good thing. Of course, I only saw one level.

What version you played?

I played the PS3 version, and I liked it. I didn't have any of those problems, except the whole targeting system sucking, I managed to hit what I wanted to nearly every time. I guess I just have low standards for video games. o_O

PS3 version.

The gameplay is really repetitive so even if the 360 or wii versions lack the same level of glitchiness it's still not a very good game. The first time you pick somebody up and throw them it's pretty cool, after the 500th time (which should only take a level and a half) it's not that great anymore.

Wow, I didn't know the game was that bad.

Is the Wii version supposed to be any better? Anybody know if the graphics got severely nerfed?

The Star Wars label alone will ensure the game doesn't flop, but I think it will leave a sour taste in most peoples mouth. Thanks George Lucas for making Star Wars even shittier.

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Thompson

THE WII VERSION imo is pretty damn good

few camera glitches, and quirks but its GOOD.
