Forums - Sony - ps3 not reading blu ray disc :(

 i am outside the US right now and sony don't accept P.O Box

i am screwed?

its reading my Transformer DVD.

it happen when i was playing metal gear online, it keep loading for a long time then when i try to restart the mgs4 disc didn't show up.

i am doing a full restore right now hoping it fixes

i found a authorized center in panama but i am scare of how they will charge for the repair :(

hell a month away from little big planet!

If its still under warranty you are fine I believe. If the restore doesnt work, try holding down the power until it does a hard reset. I dont remember exactly what happens, I think it beeps a few times at you in succession when you do it.

If anything call Sony and see what your options are (if you are still under warranty).



I own all three current consoles and a great gaming rig, now thats out of the way.

i bought it on december 28 2007.

in the US i don't think sony will give me international warranty :(

it read dvd fine, but no blu ray games movies, i don't get an error they simply don't show.

full restore its a 41% 1 hour and 25 min away.

I know your not. What I'm saying is that I found that people just come into threads with out reading them and flame the OP if its about their consoles...
